Someone is apparently trying to change all names from the more objective (but longer and less simple) "Alumni of X" to "X alumni." I don't care if it is time-consuming, but the goal is non-objective and I hope it will not continue. Student7 (talk) 19:48, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
@Student7:, @Ottawahitech: The most widespread format for categories of alumni is "Alumni by [category]" and for specific institutions it is "[Institution] alumni". As of typing, a search returns over 3,000 results of category pages with the less-common "Alumni of [Institution]" format. The results are largely related to the U.K. and Ireland, with some in France, and various secondary schools. --SeekerVI (talk) 22:31, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
