@User:Greyshark09 The category for "Jews and Judaism in the Arab world" already includes subcategories such as "Jews and Judaism in Egypt". There's no reason to add "Jews and Judaism in the Arab world" to categories such as "Egyptian Jews" or "Moroccan Jews", which are categories for individual Jews from these countries. User:Greyshark09, That doesn't work because which countries are in the Arab League can change over time. Libya and Syria have both been suspended from the Arab League. Syria is currently suspended. An Arab country not being in the Arab League doesn't magically make it non-Arab. The "Arab world" is the part of the world that is Arabic speaking. See WP:CURRENT. This is how it works. If Jew was living in Syria in 1980s - he was living in Arab League. If another Jew is living there in 2015 - he is not in the Arab League. If a Jew was living in Syria in 1980s - he was a Syrian Jew, if he is living there in 1915 he was not Syrian (but Ottoman).GreyShark (dibra) 12:10, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Arab world" is more expansive than "Arab League", which is a political organization founded in 1945. The Arab world existed before 1945. The Arab world would still exist even if the Arab League was dissolved. If Spain was still an Arab country, the Arab categories would be relevant, but it hasn't been an Arab country in centuries. Certain Arab categories may or may not be applicable to medieval Arab-Islamic Spain, but I would have to ponder that question more. There should be a category for Jews from Arab countries, but if it exists it should have the same naming pattern for Christians, Muslims, and others from the Arab world. This could entail the "Arab Jews" category being used as I originally wanted. It could entail categories such as Category:Muslims from the Arab world and Category:Christians from the Arab world. But it is incoherent and segregationist to have a different naming scheme for Jews and Jews alone, while people of all other religions are classified as "Arab [religionists]".
