It's shocking to see Eilmer of Malmesbury not getting any credit here. There are no glider pilots, helicopter pilots, balloon pilots, or airship pilots on the list. I know Wikipedia is full of snobs, but this is about the snobbiest list on the whole site. Apparently you can only be an aviator if you fly a modern day heavier than air fixed-wing aircraft with an engine strapped to it in some way, and you must have flown after 1903. Even very famous modern day aviators such as Richard Branson are not listed.
