Is the UK just England?[edit]

The map on the category page appears to be only England. Aren't Wales and Scotland part of UK? If you intend this category for only England then you should rename it. In the meantime I am using this label on a school in Scotland. Sbowers3 (talk) 23:58, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the following text taken from the category page:
Please note that this category is sub divided into geographic regions, with most of them having their own stub template. The regions include: Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, plus 9 regions within England. The following map will help in selecting the correct region with in England:
As stated or implied, the map was for the sole purpose of helping to select the correct stub template to use for the various regions within England. No such help was needed for Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland as they are not broken up into smaller regions; if they were, then a map of those subregions would be in order. Also, please note the list of subcategories that make up this category. Scotland has it own subcategory. The graphic is rather dominating, and should help to identify all the regions in the UK. I don't think there's a suitable regional UK graphic, so I've tweaked the existing map to add Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in about the right places. The map now links to all the sub-directories, except the 3 non-existent ones. -- zzuuzz (talk) 03:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the edit to the map. It does make things a bit clearer. Dbiel (Talk) 03:58, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now links to all the regions, as each English county now has it's own stub that sorts to the relevant region category. In addition I've stub-sort'd the few hundred that were just marked as 'UK'. -- Ratarsed (talk) 15:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
