How to add to this category

[edit]

Add the wording  [[Category:Buskers]]  to the Category section at the bottom of any article you want to appear on this list. It's Wikimagic! ;-)

you have removed a lot of people in fat any one who doesnt hav a wikipedia article its not right

No, it is right--a category page, by definition, is a list of articles within Wikipedia related to that category. Think of it this way: the list you see on the category page is (and should be) a list of Wikipedia articles about buskers, not a list of buskers. If you want to make a page with a list of buskers, regardless of whether they have a Wikipedia article or not, Category:Buskers is not the right place to do that, but you could start a page called List of buskers which would be appropriate for that. You should have not combined the two lists of made stars and local legends.

One persons local legend is another persons star, and vice versa. I did not want to be the one who made that call. Also the 'buskers' category already existed when I started populating it (though there were only 4 people in it at the time, as I recall), and it seemed to be a good solution to the issue of the ever growing list on the busking main article. If you disagree, feel free to create a login account and create more/seperate categories as you see fit.

By nationality

[edit]

I'm going to begin moving all persons in this category to their respective "(Nationality) buskers" category. --Hemlock Martinis 01:33, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
