Name[edit]

I'm not sure I like this category name much, as it seems a little vague. How about something like Precincts of Canberra? Ambi 00:19, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I struggled coming up with an all encompasing name and this is the bast I came up with. Note that it includes Civic Square, City Walk and Commonwealth Place. It should probably also include City Hill.... I'm not precious about changing it, but let's discuss a bit more. I think 'precincts' is a tad too narrow. I don't know that it would allow places like Green Square to be listed for example. In urban planning terms precincts usually imply more than just a single place, but a collection of buildings, streets and places - The Parl Triangle is a good example. I had toyed with the name 'Miscellaneous Canberra places, but decided to go with Canberra urban places instead. Adz 01:01, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
