reversion, 12 January[edit]
I'm going to make a revert of Instantnood's latest edit to this category. [1]. This category has, for quite awhile before Instantnood came along, been for "Chinese actors", with text specifically stating that it includes Hong Kong. Instantnood has tried to change this in July 2005 [2], and then again FIVE TIMES on September 22-23 2005.
It's an interesting behavior of his, that after having revert wars months earlier, he will just wait and come back and make the same exact edit months later. There is no talk page discussion. It's uncanny, every day there were be the same old reverts as the day before, and in the middle of those, he throws in one or two ancient ones.
FWIW, I'm trying to explain my revert without being accused of edit warring. SchmuckyTheCat 06:34, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
- The two categories were created at around the same period [3] [4]. They coexisted for three months until user:Jihg's edits [5] [6]. IMHO, they should be kept as separate categories and be linked to each other, since they're subcategories of category:cinema of China and category:cinema of Hong Kong respectively, and the cinema of China and cinema of Hong Kong articles are currently arranged to talk about the separate threads of the development of Chinese-language cinema.
