Disconnect between category name and description[edit]

When a person is referred to using a national descriptor the clear implication is that the person is of that nationality. I have no objection to the existence of a category for persons who have committed a crime in Tasmania, but we can't call such persons or the category "Tasmanian criminals" unless they are, in fact, Tasmanian.

I have just removed Mark "Chopper" Read from this category. He was an Australian criminal who committed a crime in Tasmania. He was not a Tasmanian criminal. Captainllama (talk) 14:18, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
