This category will need renaming / rebuilding at some stage - The Eliot Family is NOT an American family. One branch may be American; but there is a British branch which predates the American. Ian Cairns (talk) 08:51, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the line of William Greenleaf Eliot and T. S. Eliot in fact closely related to the other, the "Harvard Eliots"? I'm not sure they are. If they aren't, they should be removed to a different category. Brianyoumans (talk) 10:34, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
