Looking for Graduate ~1968 Thomas A. Carstens

[edit]

My name is David Orr; I became a USAF pilot in the 1969-1974 time frame.

One of my USAF Pilot School class mates came from Emory:

Thomas A. Carstens

We are planning an early 2009 40th Reunion.

I’ve worked all the usual resources for over a month including asking all the other pilots who spent a year in training (after graduating college in or before 1968). I can’t find him.

We've found 77 of the 80 guys (one died so far, which in military terms is very amazing). So our efforts have been extensive and nearly successful. We had a couple of Marines, a few from the Air National Guard and even my roommate from the Danish Air Force. So we have people coming from Germany, Denmark and all over the US, in fact I’ve not heard of one who didn’t want to come after we informed them of the reunion in the Spring.

But Carstens’ whereabouts is proving very difficult to determine. I know you might not be able to give me address information you might have for him without extensive pleading and guarantees this is not for some commercial venture – but if you can send a note to him, that I’m looking for him, I’d appreciate it:

Thanks for your valuable time,

David Orr 22011 Arrowhead Lane Lake Forest, CA 92630 949-939-1479(Cell) canardfinder@att.net
