Guantanamo Bay[edit]

Camp X-Ray at Guantanamo is in certain aspects best considered as extrajudicial detention, since the proposed trials of detainees to be conducted by military commissions have not in fact ever been conducted to any real extent. Far from having their cases "adjudicated", most detainees who have been freed have been freed by agreements or administratively, not by having their cases adjudicated or dismissed. (Of course, many others have died while in custody.) Therefore, the naval facilities for the purpose at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Station deserve inclusion on this list. 2600:1004:B163:42B7:9BC:238D:8A4D:24A8 (talk) 02:45, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
