Introductory text[edit]

I removed the original text which read:

This category lists designers who are currently Fellows of the Chartered Society of Designers. Past Fellows may also be listed but must ensure that they do not claim Fellowship if this is not current. For past Fellows dates must be shown for the period of Fellowship. The Society is a professional body and as such has an obligation to deliver public benefit, it must therefore ensure that all details provided are accurate. Any designer purporting to be a Fellow of the Society who is not currently listed on the Register of the Society may not refer to themselves as a member or Fellow or use the affix FCSD (TM). The Society will take appropriate action against any misrepresentation, passing off or misuse of its intellectual property.
Members of the public and/or clients are advise to contact the Society to verify a designers claim of membership at www.csd.org.uk or telephone +44 (0) 207 357 8088

The problem is that this category does not exist to serve the needs or the objectives of the Society. It exists to serve the interests of Wikipedia readers. In particular, the request about listing dates cannot even be implemented in a category. Moreover, similar categories list fellows past and present and readers understand that the details will be found in the individual articles. I've rewritten the introductory sentence to reflect this.
