separate category for crops[edit]

I've submitted a few articles into this category before such as Mimosa strigillosa and Sophora tomentosa and also added a few other species into the category; however, one thing always struck me as odd. All of the mango breeds don't quite belong into what for all other states seems to be a class of category generally dedicated to native plants. Then I saw a page similar to this one:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Crops_originating_from_Bolivia

I think it would improve the category to divide out the crop species into a new page of similar scope. I'm going to submit the page 'Category: Crops originating from Florida' for creation and thought I'd mention it here in case anyone had any thoughts on cleaning up the page into more clearly defined categories.
