Description/definition of the category missing[edit]

This category lacks any description/definition. Hence it somewhat unclear to average editors how to apply it (and possibly even unclear in general in case there's no clear unanimously agreed on scientific definition of the term).--Kmhkmh (talk) 14:09, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Category:People by gender?[edit]

Why is this category located underneath Category:People by gender? Intersex is a sex, not a gender. --Hirsutism (talk) 18:58, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. --Hirsutism (talk) 07:45, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Intersex is considered a gender identity. Also, even woman and man are debatable as genders (as well as non-binary as it includes agender. In other interwikis, the category is by sex (but in English it's by gender (Q56022781)). And on Wikidata, it's also classified as gender identity, as it's used in sex or gender (P21). --MikutoH talk! 01:00, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
