Al-Qaeda is an Islamist organisation that attempts to base much of their terrorist activities on tenets of Sunni Islam. Members of al-Qaeda are Sunni Muslims. That's why Category:Lebanese Sunni Muslims is a legitimate parent category. I don't understand the rationale for removing it. A user removed it and said "it has nothing to do with religious beliefs of others". That misses the point that this is a subcategory, not a parent category. It doesn't mean all Lebanese Sunni Muslims are members of al-Qaeda or agree with them. Good Ol’factory(talk) 01:08, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
