Untitled[edit]

This category needs more country subcategories (particularly for Australia, France, and the US). 216.214.103.34 23:54, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Alternatively, make sure to set the sort key by country. -- User:Docu
Added subcategories for Australia, France, UK; sort keys and some cleanup of other items. The big US recat remains to do (see below). Dublin, Ireland was left under 'I' for now. Dl2000 14:58, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Subcategory for US Zip codes[edit]

I think this is absolutely necessary. All US state-lists could be transferred there. deeptrivia (talk) 02:33, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done - US lists now in subcat Category:Postal codes of the United States. Dl2000 21:54, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOTDIRECTORY[edit]

Don't all the pages listed in this category and its subcategories fail WP:NOTDIRECTORY? --Stfg (talk) 18:03, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of postal codes in Japan was twice deleted with Template:db tagging. I understand Wikipedia has a general policy for deleting articles that users find useful and worthy of existing, because how else can we waste people hours more enthusiastically than in deletion debates? What I don't get is why we are applying speedy deletions inconsistently by country. --Makkachin (talk) 16:42, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
