mess of questions[edit]

what is glass transistion temperature?

when something transitions to glass

Is there a way to change the name to capitalize the 'S' as well as all the links to this page?

A portal[edit]

I'm looking to begin a portal for Materials Science. Check Portal:Materials_science. Is this an alright thing to do? Any objections?

I haven't begun filling the portal template, because I'd like a response first.

I've found these links are mainly a list of formulas without much explanation. I question the value of this to anyone not already familiar with materials science. The philosophy of an encyclopedia is to explain at a high school or at least a college freshman level. This is way over most people's heads. Anyone (like me) who doesn't have a strong math background will find this information useless.
