While I think this article offers a fair critique of the usage, I think it is a little beyond the general public. It might be difficult for them to assume the conversation underlying this term. I would be in favor of a history of usage type intro talking about 1) A brief overview of how the term is being used in the EC, 2) how the term "mission" has been used pervious and parallel to EC. It is this last part that I think needs some work in order for the general user to understand the EC usage as presented. Oakiebsc 15:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]


That the useage of "missional" alongside the emerging church does not emphasis the great commission seems rather pov and tbh not true.
