Should this category be renamed?[edit]

It seems that most people just add this category (or any one of its subcategories) to any film in which multiple languages are spoken. I can't really fault them because the category name itself is unclear and ambiguous. Only after you click on this category, then click on the "Main article" link, do you finally reach the article about multiple-language versions of films. Most people will never get that far to find out what this category is really being used for, so it will continue to be incorrectly applied by many to films for which only one version (in which multiple languages are spoken) was ever filmed. Perhaps Category:Films with multiple-language versions or something similar would be a preferable alternative with a definition that is clearer to Wikipedia editors. Absolutely! But the discussion should take place at WT:WikiProject Film#Multilingual films and categories because there are 85 subcategories below Category:Multilingual films. Peaceray (talk) 19:24, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
