Funny, funny, funny[edit]

I've heard of a Montreal humor museum. Anybody know what it's called? Trekphiler 02:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Types of museum is itself a category within Category:Museums. — Robert Greer (talk) 23:44, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Propose a split museums by type and museums by topic/subject[edit]

"Type" refers to the form or techniques of the museum (open-air, virtual, eco-), whereas topic refers to the theme of the content (science, art, history, ethnography, etc.) --Kevlar (talkcontribs) 23:25, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevlar67: I agree. Listing 'Museums by type' instead of 'Museums by topic' and leads to confusion with the category 'Types of Museums' The category title should be changed. Myotus (talk) 20:08, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Except that "Types of Museums" is for articles about types. "Museums by types" is for articles about individual museums themselves. --Kevlar (talkcontribs) 03:36, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
