There is no such requirement - rivers can be searched for directly. However, even allowing for the fact that some are in multiple counties, dumping all of them into one mess of a category would be underclassification.
It is unfortunate, though, that Monaghan and Leitrim do not seem to have their own sub-cats. No notable rivers at all there? SeoR (talk) 14:02, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
