Pursuant to the above discussion, which related to the wider unsuccessful proposal to merge the categories of "Russian immigrants", "Soviet immigrants" and "Imperial Russian immigrants" to a specific country into a single category of "Russian and Soviet immigrants" to that country, it is necessary to create at least two new sister categories, Category:Imperial Russian immigrants to Australia and Category:Soviet immigrants to Australia, and to review the articles currently in this category and, where applicable, to move them to the new categories. All such categories will be subcategories of a container category, Category:Russian and Soviet immigrants to Australia. Davshul (talk)!
