Joint supercategory?[edit]

Is it acceptable to create a common supercategory for both Category:Scientologists and Category:Critics of Scientology for the purpose of maintaining an interwiki to de (and of course keep both existing categories)? At de, we now have only the supercategory (de:Kategorie:Scientology (Person)), and removed the Scientologists’ category, apparently intending to implement our policy not to categorize people by their faith, notwithstanding the debate whether S. is a faith. I know you have the right not to care about the policies at other Wikipedias, but a supercategory would be the only way I can think of to have an interwiki between de and en. What do you think? --dealerofsalvation 21:08, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't seem logical to do that, categories on en.wikipedia are used for organization of articles on this project. Cirt (talk) 23:24, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
ok, thanks for the fast reply. --dealerofsalvation 07:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category: Cult?[edit]

I thought that putting any specific religion or NRM under the category cult was discouraged in favor of neutrality? Is Scientology exempt from this or should it be decategorized? 2001:610:308:692:6463:5321:B4B7:5D94 (talk) 22:34, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
