these might be easier catalogued by continent, region or supernational organization. Great job! Chris 03:16, 4 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I just found this, check out http://www.pinetreeweb.com/wosm-badges-1.htm these have been scanned from the poster WOSM issues, and some are mislabeled or miscategorized, but still worth a look. Chris 01:01, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sub-categories[edit]

I think we need to sub-categorise these images - there are a lot there for a start (over 200 Scouting Organisations across the world).. and I've also added some of the UK Scouting brand logos to wikipedia for UKSA related articles, which are out of place with the membership badges - as are the Eagle Scout awards, and such...

How about categorising according to geographic location? Continent, Region, and then Nation? Horus Kol 10:50, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A further thought - membership badges and logos should also be seperate to award badges... Horus Kol 10:52, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To Gallery or Not to Gallery?[edit]

I have read through WP:FUE and find the arguments for NO GALLERY to be pretty weaked and contrived. I am sure that there are some that would argue for erring on the side of caution, but then, really, what other purpose does this category serve if not to help one find the FU Image that they are looking for? The titles are absolutely no help, as there are hundreds of them with most having non-standard names. I propose that this category be considered as exempt under the fair use policy. --NThurston 16:35, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
