Why deletion?[edit]

Why should this category be deleted when there are similar categories like Category:Screenshots of Mac software and Category:Screenshots of Windows software etc? Why not a category for Amiga Software? What is the reason(s) and motivations behind this attempt to "delete" this category? A blanking page to prepare empty category for deletion message isn't good enough. --81.225.154.34 (talk) 13:25, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The motivation is that the Amiga category is empty -- it has no pages in it. The Windows and Apple categories are not empty. When a category is empty and expected to remain empty, it serves no purpose to the encyclopedia. See criterion C1 under Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. - Stepheng3 (talk) 20:48, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Empty? Oh, sorry. But it should not be empty, anyway it is now fixed and it has pages/images. Thanks for pointing out. -Marko75 (talk) 12:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Thanks for repopulating. - Stepheng3 (talk) 19:17, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
