Populate this category[edit]

I've begun to populate this category and will continue to due so. However, my main interest and knowledge is in the blues genre, and since there are many slide players outside of blues, it would be nice if some other editors can fill up this category. --buck 03:17, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Someone had incorrectly added Roy Rogers, so I stated an article on Roy Rogers (guitarist) and added a few others. I'm surprised we don't have a page for Stacy Phillips.[1] -MrFizyx 05:54, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How about Rod Price of Foghat?? His work on Foghat's cover of Robert Johnson's "Terraplane Blues" is outstanding, as just one example of his slide prowess. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.247.254.182 (talk) 17:34, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

Perhaps we should consider merging this with Category:Steel guitarists, or make that a sub-category of this one—thats what I'll do for now. -MrFizyx 06:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
