They self-identify as such. The original Latter Day Saint church was called the Church of Christ. The fact that other Christians may not recognize them as "true" Christians is irrelevant since we take their professed beliefs at face value. Good Ol’factory ^(talk) 22:24, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
