Chinese emigrants
[edit]There is already a hatnote that says Chinese Emigrants is a related category. We don't need to POV push by claiming that Taiwanese emigrants are Chinese emigrants. Readin (talk) 04:27, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- It's common in categories that are for "Taiwanese FOOs" to include the corresponding Chinese FOOs category as a parent. It's fine if this one doesn't but it's kind of out of synch with the rest of the scheme. It's not a POV push, it's simply a parent–child relationship for browsing convenience. Whether we include it or do not include it—the choice can be interpreted by someone as a POV push. So I've restored the category to its original state. Good Ol’factory (talk) 04:59, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps we should open a discussion on the talk:Taiwan page to figure out whether "Taiwanese FOOs" should be presumed to have a parent. I notice you've been adding "Chinese FOOs" as a parent in many places so it isn't necessarily a standard already. Readin (talk) 13:40, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
