Filling in these categories... help?[edit]

There are (at least) two ways to approach this category.

  1. By Tour year... For each Tour de France, perhaps starting with the 2006 Tour de France and going backwards, for each stage winner, add the appropriate [[Category:Country Tour de France stage winners]] entry to the stage winner's article. Any time doing so creates a new category (first one for that country), create the category page, including making it be a member of Category:Tour de France winners. I've done this for the first few stage winners of the 2006 Tour so far.
  2. By country... Focus on all the stage winners for a particular country. This should be relatively easy for countries with a short history in the Tour. For example, the Category:American Tour de France stage winners category is complete.

Any assistance in working towards completing these categories would be appreciated... --Serge 17:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've just done 2004 and 2003. Poor Jean-Patrick Nazon hasn't got an article yet! --Mais oui! 23:51, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done 2002 and 2001. We are starting to have a lot of missing articles, even this recently. --Mais oui! 00:36, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done 2000 and 1999. A lot of missing articles though, and some of the ones that do exist are pretty poor stubs. I created a very bare Ludo Dierckxsens stub from the info at de:Wiki. --Mais oui! 10:43, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
