WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state) To-do:

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

This is a good list to have for practical reasons: Georgia has tens of thousands of actual towns.
However, due to a very odd quirk in the Georgia State Constitution, there is only one form of local government, smaller than a county, that is offered in Georgia: the so-called "city". We know that this is stupid on the part of the legislators, but that is the way that it is.

Thus, this list needs to link prominently to the one Category: Municipalities in Georgia (U.S. state) Category:Municipalities_in_Georgia_(U.S._state).

We really do know that the actual cities of Georgia are these: Albany, Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Columbus, Decatur, Lawrenceville, Macon, Marietta, Savannah, and maybe one or two more.98.67.111.223 (talk) 21:45, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
