No Category:Male children's writers?[edit]

This needs to be addressed. I don't know why it's even necessary to categorize by gender, but I was under the impression that we only create "category:women x" and "category:male x" when the parent category becomes too full, and that these two always go together, i.e. we don't just have one. So where is the category:male children's writers? Why do men writers get to be in the default category and women removed from the default and categorized into their own subcategory, like they're less important? I am very upset. What are you talking about? This is marked as a "non-diffusing subcategory", which means that the women writers get listed in both this and the parent category Category:Children's writers. Dimadick (talk) 16:46, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
