There are too much articles in the category:x86 microprocessors so I propose to create a parent category called category:x86 technology to move articles like Real mode, MMX or X86 assembly programming in real mode, leaving in the category category:x86 microprocessors only those articles relating with concrete models of x86 microprocessors. Or maybe, following the example of category:POWER architecture, to create the category:x86 architecture, making the category:x86 microprocessors a subcategory of that one.
