Chhava is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historical drama film, revolves around the life of Maratha emperor Sambhaji, son of Shivaji. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film stars Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, with Rashmika Mandana in a leading role, and features Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in significant roles. The film will be released on 6 December 2024 in theatres.

Production[edit]
Rashmika Mandana wrapped up her portion in January 2024.[4] Vicky Kaushal began filming in Wai on March 9, 2024, and concluded this leg of shooting on April 6, 2024, after recovering from an injury sustained during a war sequence; he was on a break for almost 20 days. Kaushal completed his filming in May 2024.[5][6][7] Earlier, the team had approached Anil Kapoor for the role of Aurangzeb. However, in October 2023, Akshaye Khanna also joined the cast, taking on the role of Aurangzeb.[8][9]

The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 6 December 2024.
