Cornelia Murr

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cornelia Murr is a British-born American singer-songwriter. Born in London, she lived there and in Hertfordshire as a child.[1] She then lived in the United States and moved frequently, including in the states of California, Colorado, Massachusetts and New York.[2] Her debut album, Lake Tear of the Clouds, produced by herself and Jim James, was inspired by the landscapes of upstate New York.[1] Pitchfork described it as "[h]azy, carefree psych-folk" which "obscures dense psychological dramas".[3] Murr released an EP, Corridor, in 2022.[1] She is based in Los Angeles.[1]
