Craig Butler is a Jamaican football manager.

Life[edit]

Butler attended Jamaica College in Jamaica.[1] He is the son of a real estate broker Carol Butler.[2]

Butler managed Mona High School in Jamaica, helping the team win their first league title.Against all odds the team beat all others in an unbeaten season with the best defensive record and scoring the most goals.[3]

He has been nicknamed "Bull Head".He also went to the final as a player in 1984 and went unbeaten in 1986 . His name was earned from his ability to really head the football well .[4] He is the father of Jamaican footballers Leon Bailey ( Aston Villa ) who he has guided in his professional career since aged 8 Kyle Butler and Dante Peralto the current captain of Mona High whilst also adopting over 35 other footballers raising them in his home and giving them futures in Football. Kemar Reid of Floriana fc in Malta is one such player along with Kemmu Jackson Kyle Butler.[5] Butler is a Fierce advocate for his players and continues to give hope to young people in Jamaica using football as a vehicle to advancement in life.Dujaun Whisper Richards of Chelsea fc is another player Butler Managed and developed from 11 years old He has faced hatred and ostracization from the Jamaica Football Federation for calling them out for corruption and unprofessionalism as well as unwillingness to develop young talent properly in the sport. He is currently managing some of the biggest talents in the region and in Europe
