Dabaru (The chess master) is a 2024 biographical sports drama film based on the life of the youngest grandmaster of India, Surya Sekhar Ganguly directed by Pathikrit Basu. The film unfolds a motivational tale about a young chess player, Surja, who rose from the alleys of North Kolkata during 1988-1998 to finally become a grandmaster in 2001.

The film became a huge box-office success receiving positive reviews from critics.
