David A. Pailin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

David Arthur Pailin (1936–2021) graduated from Trinity College and proceeded to become a leading British philosopher and theologian. He wrote numerous books, mostly in the 1980s and 1990s. Eventually became head of the department of philosophy of the University of Manchester.[1]

In his work he "took a critical realist approach to theology, with particular attention to the possibility of reconstructing a theism that is both credible and significant."[1]
