Diana Osmanovna Kadi (Russian: Диана Османовна Кади, born April 12, 1988, Tashkent,[1] Tashkent Region, Uzbek SSR, USSR) is a Russian presenter, filmmaker, radio host, publicist, author and host of her YouTube channel.[2] Host of programs on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio. Founder of the International Discussion Club "March 18", author of the book "Crimean Tatar Manifesto" (2018).[3][4]

Early years

She was born on April 12, 1988 in Tashkent. In 1991, she moved to Crimea with her family.[5] In 2002-2005 she studied at the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, specializing in film and television.[6][7]

In 2008 she moved to Odesa, where she lived for 3 years.[8] In 2011, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Simferopol University of Economics and Management, specializing in taxation.[9] Worked in the Department for Relations with Public Organizations and Mass Media. Participated in the work of a charitable foundation in Simferopol.[10]

Engaged in entrepreneurial activities. In 2014, she moved to Moscow.[11] In 2021, she graduated from the Alexander Mitta Film School.[12] Graduated from the University of Economics and Management (SUEU) in Crimea, Alexander Mitta Film School in Moscow.[13]

Writing activities

In 2014, she released the fiction novel "The Disgusting Truth".[14] In the same year she released the novel "The Enemy Must Not See Your Tears" about Rodion Dolgov, a fighter of the Crimean unit "Berkut".[15]

Also as her career began, she became a columnist for Izvestia and Komsomolskaya Pravda,[16] and begins to cooperate with such media as the Regnum news agency,[17] the Life.ru online edition[18] and The National Interest magazine.[19]

In 2017, she founded the international discussion club "March 18".[20]

Hosted the program "The Leader" on the radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda". Since 2018 host of the Sunday author program "Parry with Diana Kadi" on the radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda". At different times the participants of the broadcast were A. Yu. Volochkova, N. B. Dzhigurda, A. A. Kuzichev, V. V. Milonov and D. K. Simes.[21]
