The Diocesan Training Centre (formally The Diocesan Training Centre for Ministries and Community Development of the Anglican Church in Mauritius ) is a Mauritian educational institution in Rose Hill, Mauritius established in 2004. It serves as a pivotal hub for theological education and community development initiatives within the Anglican Church in Mauritius.

History and Formation

The Diocesan Training Centre was established in 2004 through the amalgamation of two significant entities: St Paul's Theological College and the esteemed Bishop Ghislain Emmanuel Library. This merger marked a significant milestone in the Anglican Church's commitment to enhancing theological education and fostering holistic community development.

The Centre

It was established in 2004 as an amalgamation of St Paul's Theological College and the Bishop Ghislain Emmanuel Library.[1] The centre offers both theological training for Anglican ordinands and also ecumenical theological education.
