Dokota is a small town located in Mailsi Tehsil in the Vehari District of Punjab, Pakistan.

The town is situated on the Mailsi-Multan Road. It is 70 km (44 miles) Southeast of Multan and 19 km (11 miles) West of Mailsi. The majority of its population works in the agricultural sector.

Inhabitants of Dokota mostly belong to the Punjabi and Saraiki-speaking communities, and the Rajput caste. After the 1947 Partition of India, a Punjabi community was established in Dokota after migrating from East Punjab of India.It has many quality schools and colleges.Dokotians are quite friendly and warm hearted.There is a canal in this warm village adorned by bakeries, schools,farms and schools. The crop production of dokota includes corn, cotton,wheat and rice as well as many colourful fruits and vegetables . You can also devour delicious meals there by tasting not only desi food made by the locals but also fast food. Dokota is a all religion friendly community where one can practice according to his believes,but this community will not allow any kind of oppression, injustice and cruelty. Also many banks are present there so you can transfer and share amounts and open your savings account.
