He was born on April 13, 1958 in the village of Jazak near Iriga. His father was a miner. He finished elementary school in Vrdnik, then he attended the science and mathematics high school, first in Aleksinac, to finish the "Stevan Puzić" High School in Ruma. He continued his education at the Aviation Technical Military Academy in Rajlovac near Sarajevo.

He served in Skopje and Belgrade. He stayed in the USSR on study stays and combat shooting of targets in the airspace.

NATO campaign on FR Yugoslavia[edit]

Lieutenant Colonel Aničić was the deputy commander of the 3rd Division of the 250th Missile Air Defense Brigade, a gunnery operator in combat service, and during the war he went by the name Anđelko Đorđević. He was a member of the combat crew that shot down an American Air Force F 117A Nighthawk during the NATO bombing of FR Yugoslavia on March 27, 1999 at 8:42 p.m., which represents the first and only confirmed loss of a NATO alliance aircraft made with stealth technology. The plane was shot down by an S-125 Neva missile system (NATO designation SA-3 Goa).The third rocket division shot down the one that fell in the area of ​​the village of Nakučana near Šabac. All credit for the downing of the F 117A was attributed to the commander of the combat service, Colonel Zoltan Dani, who claimed in later interviews that he was responsible for the downing of the F 117A with his personal system modifications.

After war activities and retirement[edit]

He worked as a teacher at the School of National Defense in Belgrade and taught the subject Tactics of Use. He retired on May 1, 2002 at his own request.

He is the author of the war diary "Shift" in which he recorded day by day events in the 3rd Missile Division of the 250th Missile Air Defense Brigade. In this part, the entire development path of the unit and its members during all 78 days of NATO bombing of FRY is fully explained.

The memorial was presented to him by the Commander of the Air Force and Anti-Aircraft Defense of the Serbian Army, Major General Duško Žarković, at a ceremony held on April 15, 2019, at the Air Force House in Zemun.
