On the first day of the conflict, the RSF launched major attacks on the Sudanese Army bases across the country. Fighting broke out in El-Gadaref on the first day of the conflict as well.[1] The army quickly captured the RSF headquarters in El-Gadaref.[2] The army later took control of the town and the state itself.[3]
