AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited is a Thai real estate development business offering projects for sale, including townhouses, single-detached houses and condominiums, mostly in Bangkok and the surrounding areas.[2]

History

AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited was established in 1991 as a limited company,[3] under the name of Asian Property Company Limited, to operate the business of real estate development. Later in 2000, the company was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand using a backdoor listing with PCM Pre-cast Floors Public Company Limited, a manufacturer of pre-cast floors, which has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since September 22, 1992.

After the merger with PCM Pre-cast Floors Public Company Limited, the company changed its name to Asian Property Public Company Limited and established a new company, named PCM Construction Materials Company Limited, to operate the business of pre-cast floors. At that time, the company held 99.99% of the shares in PCM Construction Materials Company Limited.

In 2002, the company registered for the change of its securities trading business category to the Stock Exchange of Thailand from the construction and decoration materials category to the real estate development category.[4] Also, the company moved its former offices, which were located at 26/1 Village No. 4, Lam Luk Ka Road, Lam Luk Ka Sub-district, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, to 170/57 Ocean Tower 1 Building, 18th Floor, Ratchadaphisek Road, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, as the head office up to present.

AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited has operated 3 business groups, including:

Real estate development business: AP (Thailand)[5] Public Company Limited operates the real estate development business of single-detached houses, townhomes and condominiums.

Real estate investment consultant business: Bangkok Citismart[6] provides all integrated services related to real estate, such as doing consignments, leasing and finding buyers for condominiums.

Integrated real estate management company: SMART[7] is a company that provides the management of condominium juristic persons, condominiums and housing development.

Residential project

AP and its group of companies have developed a total of 60 condominium projects along the lines of sky trains since its establishmentง[8] and the joint venture with Mitsubishi Estate Group, the largest real estate development conglomerate in Japan.[9][10][11][12] Moreover, AP has developed single-detached house projects[13] under the brands THE PALAZZO, SOUL, MIND, THE CITY, CENTRO, including home offices under the brand DISTRICT;[14] townhomes under the brand Baan Klang Muang Classe, Baan Klang Muang The Edition, Baan Klang Muang, Pleno Town, Pleno, Geande Pleno[15]; condominiums under the brands The Addess, Rhythm, Life, Asprie[16]; and other projects in the provinces under the brand Apitown.[17]
