Adarsh Gunduraj or Adarsh Kaginere mononymously known as Adarsh, is an Indian actor, film producer and a chartered accountant. Adarsh made his acting debut in Yeh Dil Ramta Jogi. But his works are primarily seen in Kannada cinema[1]. He is perhaps best known for his performance in Swartharatna (2018). His performance for the film 2nd Life[2] (2022) earned him fame.
Adarsh is the first chartered accountant to play lead roles in Kannada cinema.[3]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Adarsh Gunduraj was born in Hongadahalla Village, Sakleshpura Taluk, Hassan District of Karnataka. His father, Gunduraj K P, is a farmer and entrepreneur, and his mother is Yashoda D M.
Adarsh completed primary schooling at Govt Primary School, Hongadahalla, Sakleshpura and secondary school at Vidyadayini High School, Surathkal Mangalore. Completed pre-university and obtained a bachelor's degree in BCom from Govindadasa College of Mangalore University. He then pursued MCom from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. He is a chartered accountant[4] from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Actor[edit]
Adarsh media career began with TV advertisements and made his debut in Hindi film Yeh Dil Ramta Jogi (2014) as a guest role but in 2018 he gained fame for his lead role in Swartharatna.
In 2022 under Jayanna Combines Films and Shukra Films he acted in 2nd Life,[5] a mystery thriller highlighting the importance of stem cells.

He owns a film production company called Running Horse Creations, which is credited with Swartharatna (2018).
