Draft:Adfly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

AdF.ly was a free, British-owned, ad-supported URL-shortening service that payed the user money by showing them ads when a person clicked on the link. It was later bought out in 2019 by Linkvertise, a German based company who was a competitor to AdF.ly prior to 2019.

In 2010, the company was criticized for hosting malicious ads and scam surveys to their users, and intrusive ads continued appearing on the shortened links until 2023, when it was shut down by Linkvertise, who had bought it out in 2019.
