Adv. VM Muhammed Gazali (Muhammed Gazali Valiyakath Moothedath) is a prominent figure in the field of law, politics, and social work from India. He has made a lasting impression as a lawyer, politician, social worker, and people's representative and is renowned for his unwavering commitment to defending the rights of the populace. He presently serves as the people's representative on the Kerala state's Thrissur District Panchayat.[1]

Early Life and Education[edit]

Muhammed Gazali, who was born on May 25th, 1973 in Venmenad, Kerala, showed a strong interest in law and social justice from a young age. His elementary schooling was finished at AMLPS Venmenad, and he later earned a BSc in mathematics from Sreekrishna College there in Guruvayoor. Since then he has completed law, LLB in 2004 from the renowned Law Academy Trivandrum.[2]

Legal Career[edit]

In 2004, Advocate Muhammad Gazali became a member of the Kerala Bar Council[3]. He primarily represents clients at the Kerala, India, courts of Thrissur District Court and Chavakkad Court. His legal practice is located in the town of Chavakkad, and he represents clients in a range of legal concerns there.

Political Career[edit]

Through the Muslim Students Federation, the Indian Union Muslim League's student branch, VM Muhammed Gazali entered politics and since held various posts in the students federation . Later, he was opted as the General Secretary of Muslim Youth League, Thrissur District Committee and later had been elevated as the President of the same organisation. Currently he is serving as the Secretary of Thrissur District Committee of Indian Union Muslim League.

From 2011 to 2016, he held positions in the ministries of Industry, Urban Affairs, and IT[4]. Later in 2020, he won the District Panchayath election to serve as the people's representative in the Kadappuram Division of the Thrissur District Panchayat[5]. He has launched a number of development plans in his Division with a special focus on sustainable growth.
