Advanco is an enterprise software company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, specializing in product identification for regulated track and trace purposes. It utilizes serialization technologies to enhance security measures, particularly within the life science industry. Since 2008, the company has focused on serving the global pharmaceutical sector.

History[edit]

Established in 1981 by Olgun Yenersoy, Advanco started with barcode hardware for matrix printers.[1]

In 2008, Advanco shifted its focus to serving pharmaceutical customers, launching ARC MES/Cockpit to optimize packaging shop floor operations.[2]

In 2009, Pfizer became ARC's first customer for serialization and aggregation, connecting with Turkey Ministry of Health ITS/PTS.[3][4]

In 2019, Advanco was acquired by Parabellum Investments, founded by Rami Cassis.[5][3][4]

In 2023, Advanco acquired Vantage Consulting Group.[5][6][7] This allowed ARC to be fully complemented by full automation, design, implementation, and validation engineering services.[6]

The acquisition elevated Advanco's status in pharmaceutical serialization globally and expanded its presence in United States.[2][8]
