Ahmad Mohammad Bani Hani (born 26 October 1989) is a Jordanian born in Jordan.

He is the first Arab to climb Mount Makalu and The first Jordanian to climb Mount Lhotse, Llinen Peak, and Mount Amadablam.

Biography

Born in Amman - Jordan.

He finished schooling at Islamic Educational College and graduated from the University of Jordan

In 2011 with a BA in Computer Information Systems.

He worked after graduation in many positions:

1- Junior Developer in STS from (2013-2016).

2- Adventure and Ecotourism Product Coordinator in Jordan Tourism Board   from (2017-2022).

3- Founder of B Adventure from (2022-present).

4- Board Member of Jordan Trail Association from (2021-present)

5- General Assembly member of JCF

Climbing Carrier

He discovered his outdoor passion in 2009 by hiking around Jordan and in 2015 he made his first snowy mountain in the Nepal Everest region Mount Island Peak.

He started rock climbing in 2017 and finished his Mount Guide Course in 2022 in collaboration with ENSA school and MOTA in Jordan.

Achievements

-In May 2024 first Arab mountaineer successfully reached the summit of Mount Makalu at 8486 meters.

-May 2023 first Jordanian success to reach the summit of Mount Lhotse 8516 meters.

-June 2022 attempted to climb G2 uncomplicatedly due to bad weather conditions.

-April 2021 first Jordanian success to reach the summit of Mount Ama Dablam 6816 meters.

-In August 2019 first Jordanian success to reach the summit of Mount Lenin 7134 meters.

-Jan 2018 climb Mount Kilimanjaro 5895 meters.

-Jan 2017 climb Mount Aconcagua 6962 meters.

-August 2016 climb Mount Elbrus 5640 meters.

-In August 2018 climb Mount Kazbek 5050 meters.

-In October 2015 climb Mount Island peak 6189 meters.

- August 2021 climb Mount Ararat 5150 meters.
