Aimé Dallemagne was a French Painter, watercolorist, illustrator, etcher, born on March 16, 1882 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines), lived in Le Mesnil-le-Roi and died on June 23, 1971 in Boulogne-Billancourt.
Biography[edit]
Based in Mesnil-le-Roi[1], Aimé Dallemagne was a pupil of Amand Gautier and Jobbé-Duval, and a member of the Société des artistes français, where he worked from 1905 onwards, winning a third-class medal in 1914 and a second-class medal in 1921, and later serving as a member of the jury[2].
Aimé Dallemagne's portrait was captured in a 1913 portrait by the painter Damblans.[3].
