Air Cargo Week is a weekly newspaper published for air logistics professionals. Readers are from all categories of the air cargo business, including C-Suite executives in airlines, airports, cargo handlers, freight forwarders, general sales agents and logistic service providers.
The newspaper is printed in a tabloid format. Each issue is normally eight pages in pagination. It is published in print 50 times a year. The cover date is always a Monday. In recent years, the first issue of the year has been digital only.
Each issue contains news and information from all corners of the logistics business, plus interviews with prominent industry figures and topical regional and subject features presented in an authoritative yet easy-to-read editorial format.
Air Cargo Week also appears in digital format weekly.
Since its launch in 1998, the newspaper has been edited by a number of editors. The most significant was the late Ian Martin Jones, who was in the editor’s chair for 13 years. He became a noted member of the air cargo media. The present editor is Edward Hardy.
The newspaper was launched in 1998 by business partners Brian May and William Carr, later being joined by Norman Bamford. The launch editor was Andrew Baker. James Graham, later editor, was launch journalist.
While the newspaper remains owned by UK-based publisher AZura International, that company was sold in 2023 to French-based media company Lemon Queen.[1]
On December 29, 2023, the newspaper was included in a list of 25 ‘Best Cargo Magazine by FeedSpot.[2] These are described as “The best Cargo magazines from thousands of magazines on the web ranked by traffic, social media followers & freshness.”

Air Cargo Week’s website provides industry-related stories on a daily basis, including breaking news as it happens. The website comprises editorial features, special category pages and access to the digital version of Air Cargo Week, There are links to social media platforms: Twitter [@aircargoweek], Facebook and LinkedIn.
The ACW Supplement is a monthly feature-led digital publication which presents fantastic advertising opportunities. The ACW Supplement is circulated digitally to a worldwide subscriber database of 22,500. It is also made available to download from Air Cargo Week's website
Awards[edit]
Held annually the, ACW World Air Cargo Awards was held during air cargo Europe in 2023 to recognise and reward excellence in the industry. Because of COVID-19 from 2021 to 2022 the event continued to be presented in a virtual format. Next award’s location - Air Cargo China Shanghai June 2024.[3]
